Who We Are

 

Albuquerque SANE Collaborative serves patients who have experienced sexual and domestic violence by providing prompt, compassionate, culturally sensitive, and comprehensive medical treatment and forensic documentation by nurse experts within a coordinated community response. We are a local non-profit that aids victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking throughout central New Mexico.

Our Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is comprised of community members who volunteer their time for a period of three years to assist in overseeing and governing ABQ SANE’s operations. The Board is responsible for ensuring that the organization lives up to its mission statement, meets its goals, and operates in an ethical manner. Our Board Members include community activists, health practitioners, law enforcement, attorneys, and more. We are committed to having a Board that is diverse and represents the people we serve.  BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.​

Board Expectations

Albuquerque SANE treats a diverse population of individuals impacted by interpersonal violence and seeks like-minded board members who understand the sensitive nature of our work and want to actively participate as a member.  Board members can expect to make the following time commitments:

·         Two hour Board meetings every other month

·         A Term lasting 3 years
